Happy Thanksgiving From Sterling Talent Solutions

Thanksgiving is a special time in our lives to stop all of craziness around us and and relax. From pumpkin pie desserts to spending time with loved ones, there is a lot to be thankful for this year. So, we’ve asked some of our employees what they are thankful for this year and here’s what we’ve received:

I’m thankful that I have the love and support of my husband, my family and my cats (when they feel like it). I’m thankful for dynamic, driven and thoroughly entertaining coworkers. I’m thankful for—and proud of—Sterling’s commitment to privacy, compliance and corporate ethics.

I am thankful for having an amazing family, supportive husband and loving daughter. I am also grateful for my family always being in good health. I am thankful for our great working environment, supportive managers and amazing team. They have become, not just my coworkers, but my friends and family. I am very thankful that I get to spend each day of my life with people who matter most to me.

This Thanksgiving I am thankful:

  • Family – their unconditional love & support
  • Family vacations
  • The time I spend with my children
  • Beaches – be it ocean or lake
  • Family Traditions
  • Making memories
  • The hours between 8 and 10 p.m., when everyone is asleep and the house is quiet
  • A sense of Humor –without it life can be too “real”
  • Recipes that have been passed down through the family
  • Babysitters who also clean up
  • Scenic trails – nothing beats walking through nature to clear your head
  • Weekends
  • Teachers – not only my children’s teachers who are preparing them for the future but also those who ‘teach’ us life lessons
  • Opportunity

This is what I am thankful about for this year:

  • I am thankful for each day that I get a continuous string of green lights when I am already running late
  • I might not be able to run a marathon but I’m just thankful for each day my legs are still able to get me to work on time
  • The support system – be at work, at home or spread out all over the country.

I am thankful for the decision I made many years ago to make Canada my home. The abundant natural beauty of our wilderness, our thriving and safe cities as well as our social consciousness make it a great country to call home.

Nicholas Hopkins

VP, Enterprise Solutions

I am very grateful for this wonderful year of good professional relationships both inside and outside of our company. It’s been a pleasure working with awesome people – my colleagues, my company contacts, and most especially the people behind the scenes that helped us, and especially me, to be successful in what I do.

Daryl Santos

Business Relationship Manager

I am thankful for the amazing team I work with. Their hard work and dedication are more than I could ask for.

Jordan Leclair

Associate Vice-President, Client Services

And finally, I reflected on what I am most thankful for. I am thankful for my 3-year-old daughter, who allows me to see the world again through the eyes of a child and truly appreciate the magic in everyday things. The burdens of adulthood occasionally blind us and children provide us with that reminder to slow down, use our senses and realize the beauty in our lives.
